Understanding structures, relaxation dynamics, and physical properties of disordered materials using pressure as the tuning tool and multicomponent amorphous alloys, high-entropy alloys, glassy carbon, and amorphous silicon etc. as model systems; novel metastable materials synthesis; development of disordered materials dedicated in situ high-pressure and/or high-temperature techniques including synchrotron x-ray diffraction, imaging, and spectroscopy, electrical transport and magnetic characterization etc. ▍ Disordered Materials Group
