The reception for foreign experts on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China was held in the Great Hall of the People on the evening of September 27th. Mr. Xuexiang Ding, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the reception and delivered a speech.
At the reception, on behalf of the Chinese government and President Jinping Xi, Xuexiang Ding firstly expressed his heartfelt thanks and sent sincere greetings and good wishes to all foreign experts and international friends who have cared for, supported and participated in China's reform, opening-up and modernization. He emphasized that since the founding of New China, Over the past 75 years, many foreign experts have come to China from far and wide and made indelible contributions to China's socialist modernization and construction. The indelible contributions they have made for China, Chinese people will always bear in mind. China insists on implementing a more active, more open and more effective talent policy. It is hoped that the majority of foreign experts will continue to care about and support China's development, act as builders of Chinese-style modernization, serve as a bridge for exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries, act as ambassadors of civil society to enhance people's friendship, and make new and greater contributions to the building of a community of shared destiny for mankind.
