Biography of the Speaker:
Katsuyoshi Nishinari, Bachelor/Master/PhD in Physical Chemistry, University of Tokyo, Japan. Currently working as a specially appointed professor at Glyn O Phillips Hydrocolloids Research Centre, Hubei University of Technology in China. He is an Honorary Professor at Osaka City University, Japan and a Visiting Professor at the University of Greenwich, UK. He has served as the President of the Japanese Society of Rheology and a committee member of various academic societies including the Physical Society of Japan and the Chemical Society of Japan. He has been a Senior Visiting Professor at Institute of Solid State Physics in Paul-Sabatier University and the ESPC Key Laboratory of Thermal Physics in France. In recent years, he has published over 300 original articles and more than 100 review articles, and over 10 books. He has organized or participated in numerous international conferences in the fields of physical chemistry, rheology, polymers, etc. He is highly acclaimed in the international research community of biological macromolecule colloids.
